Bob, continuing on from the last post, it is relatively easy to look at the SOX stocks performance over the 7 week uptrend period from 11/20/09 to 1/8/10. The SOX and SMH greatly out performed the major indices over this period gaining 19.4 and 13.7 percent respectively. All 21 stocks in the SOX made positive gains. All but 4 were up 10 percent or more. SNDK and MU were up over 50 percent.
