Scientist may not be able to quantify the problem precisely or agree on the remedy, but there is overwhelming consensus that human activity contributes to global warming. Scientists have enough work just to get enough data together to get a concensus on the remedy. Crack pot ideology only makes that task much more difficult. The problem may not mean much to older people like me but it certainly matters to people like my grandchildren.
