Did somebody mention UTEK? Andrew, can you comment on this?

I read in the local paper how a consortum led by Intel (no surprise) is attempting to gain control of extreme ultraviolet lithography technology developed by the Energy Dept.

the consortum plans to sell the technology to the largest stepper manufacturers, who happen also to be foriegn. Nikon and ASM are at the top of the list. Ultratech is pitching a fit about this plan.

My question is, should the Government decide it's in the best interests of the large chip makers like Intel and AMD to give the consortum control, and they do give it over to ASM or Nike, what effect would this have on UTEK in the long run--in that they might be shut out of the next technological leap in steppers.
