SouthWest touts low fares, no baggage fees etc. I would be interested to see how they compare with other airlines with regards to seat size, foot/knee space etc. I have seen passengers on South West flights complaining about less space, the seat belts being small etc. However, Americans are getting fatter, and I hope that the rework health care bill allocates a significant amount of funds for prevention. I would like to see some tax breaks for those who have memberships at gyms. Another idea is modify the foodstamp program so that people can buy fresh fruits and vegetables instead of canned foods. Way to go Michelle.
