Big news! Boeing reported today in the financial post, that it is scaling back production of its md-80 and md-90 at mcdonnell douglas in Toronto, which makes wings. This production is being switch to south korea where hyundai space & aircraft are going to build the new md-95 jet. MAL has secured a deal with hyundai (reported earlier this year) to manufacture the wing parts, potential deal over $200 million over the next decade. Boeing also expects to expand the md-95 line. philip t.
