No, some folks had the idea of sending tea bags to politicians as symbols of a tea party revolt. When that got discussed, you liberal b*llsuckers on the internet started with the teabagging stuff. Then the liberal b*llsuckers on CNN and MSNBC picked it up. It just seems so funny to gays, it seems. Because to them tea bags are associated with a weird sex thing. Even liberals who aren't gay themselves pick it up to fit in with the crowd ... they think gay is cool.
