Yes, buying shares is okay, but only at the right price. Paying somebody dumping shares an extorquerationate price [which has happened a few times] is not a good idea.

It's better to use the cash to buy dirty great truckloads [not Tonka Truck amounts] when the price plunges, such as when QCOM got below $30 in the panic of 2009 [or maybe it was 2008 - I forget].

I wouldn't like it if QCOM shareholders are buying back shares, pushing the price up, when insiders are unloading their stock option acquisitions [even if the insider sales are pre-programmed or whatever they call it].
