What is really hurting us is the Guilds that no one is aware of. Doctors, Lawyers, Dentists, etc. People who are licensed by the Gov to do business and keep others out to increase their prices Actually, any one can get in. They just have to go through the requisite education and pass the licensing tests. There are always people who don't want to do what is required in order to get where they want to go---but that doesn't mean they should be allowed to hang out shingles as doctors or lawyers if they failed to make the grade. The problem with unions with no real educational or licensing barriers is that excellence or performance are not valued because everyone is entitled to the bennies regardless of whether they are deserved or earned.
