Is habitual redundancy a banable offense? If not it should be. When warranted, a ban may be imposed for being a general nuisance and disrupting civil discourse. This line of conversation seems to be falling into that general state. I would suggest using the ignore feature since we seem to be stuck in the spammers taking over this once outstanding thread. I believe that once everybody stops responding to the nonsense the nonsense might stop. Scrolling through endless messages that say ignored or are barbs to childishness is completely boring. I for one have lost faith in the validity of this board as a quality discussion option as it is completely apparent the a few can spoil the mix for the many.
