Dave, I am amused (and of course, greatly impressed) by the quality and value of the news items that you post here -g-. Even though whatever you post has to typically have negative implications for Micron, the thread benefits greatly by the tremendous insights that these posts provide, such as,
1. DRAM prices have gone down 2. Micron faces significant competition from korean and taiwanese manufacturers 3. DRAM prices were down last month 4. DRAM prices are going to go down next year too, and also, they were down last quarter
and now this gem:
AEA schedule.....MU is not presenting....
Holy Cow, they are not... what cowards...just like Micron..to slink away when they have to get into the line of fire....... As an aside, other companies that are not presenting at this very important conference (My God, really, Now I have to get rid of these companies from my portfolio) include: IBM, Microsoft, Intel, HP, Sun, Oracle, Motorola, TI, Compaq, Cisco, (Please feel free to add every other market leading large cap company to this list).
So, again, thank you for this yeoman service that you provide, and hope you will continue to provide us with the same kind of quality, ground-breaking / critical information about technology in general, and semiconductors in particular.
If you don't, who will? and what will we do? It breaks my heart to even contemplate these thoughts........ -G-
