Hi Peter. I didn't see the Noranda release but don't worry about them putting the MOA properties on the back burner. In september I was in Bathurst and Noranda's senior geologist told me the company is concentrating its exploration efforts on expanding and developing resources in the regions they have current operations. In New Brunswick their Brunswick #12 mine has about 15 years of life remaining so they want to find more ore in the immediate area to extend the life of the mine. The MOA property would clearly fit into these plans. They want to be aggessive and obviously have the largest stake in finding more reserves in the area.

As far as the Ben Nevis property goes it sounds like they are keen to continue the project next year. However they were not so excited to get back there and drill right away. That probably doesn't mean much other than they have expired their drilling budget for the year. Where is the new plant in Quebec? Is it close enough to the Ontario border to ship ore for processing -- indeed is it cost effective to do something like that? I don't know. They do however have to feed a $720 plant for a long time.

Peter
