I'm a digital guy. It just made sense. This has been one of the toughest evenings I've had to deal with in quite some time. I fixed dinner and went in to tell my wife's youngest brother dinner was ready, and he was gone gone gone. Cold to the touch gone. He's the second deceased person I ever touched. Gonna be a long next few weeks. I hate dropping bad news. He's lived with us over twenty years. A good guy to the bone. One of those Texas dudes with bark all over him. He was the guy you called when you needed help with the tough jobs around the house, like the main drain backing up. We're still waiting for the mortuary to come over. I went into his room to give him a toast, and his voice echoed through my mind, Sorry dude. I lit a candle and placed it beside his favorite picture of he and his mother. I had a knot in my belly all afternoon too. It went away after the discovery. criminy!
