I have followed your postings with great interest. There is a long and recurrent history in the annals of small, obscure OTC companies wherein the guileless non-insider becomes an unsuspecting pawn in a contrived chess game adroitly played by crafty insiders. At this point, it may be safe to say that we do not know for certain whether this lamentable history will repeat itself vis a vis NP Energy, but a heaping dose of healthy skepticism, such as you seemingly advocate, is, given the historical context, quite justified. (Cf. Mackay's "The Madness of the Crowd and Other Popular Delusions")
For now, I must content myself to wonder aloud, for a second time on this board, why Woolenchuk, given the opportunity, chose to say nothing of substance regarding NP Energy except to urge, nay, vehemently exhort shareholders to register their certificates. Hence, Woolenchuk wasn't so much addressing prospective shareholders as he was existing shareholders. As stockpickers' cameos go, this one was clearly atypical. |
