Brian Darling writing for Human Events and quoted by Peter, said "The President sent a budget to Congress last week that plans $3.8 trillion in spending and projects a $1.3 trillion debt for 2011. It does contain a temporary spending freeze, yet would do little to address the massive expansion of spending on entitlement programs." humanevents.com Message 26305876 and he was right. The massive expansion that we have seen in recent years and that we will see in the coming years isn't directly effected by the "freeze", and isn't significantly counter-balanced by it.
