A friend just sent me a magazine called Guns and Gardens, "the soul of the New South". I seriously thought it was a parody. One of the articles was Wine Meets Whisky about a southern guy who has Australian Shiraz wine made by aging it in old whisky barrels. Other articles are about hunting, guns, southern cooking, architecture and of course southern gardens.

The country is getting weirder and weirder.
