Steven: Cymer is trying its best to repair its image. Right now Akins is trying to calm panicky investors who hit the emergency exits. Last night Cymer invited analysts and others who attended the four day financial conference of American Electronics Association to visit Cymer newest plant in Rancho Bernardo for a firsthand inspection of the company's factory.

As securities analyts gathered in room 275 at the Shearton Harbor Island Hotel, Akins insisted that "from a fundamental standpoint, there's been no change" in Cymer operations". The basic message is that the company is shipping orders and making money, " the chief executive said. "And we see an accelerating rate of delivery." - boldface is mine .

The above is some excerpt from today's San Diego Union front page article in the business section: "CATCH-22 FOR CYMER" - Investors worry firm's edge may but both ways. The article also mentioned about Brett Hodess spin on the "technical problems" at Nikon and Canon. I guess Hodess knows he can insinuate about these two companies without any rebuttal from Cymer due to confidential agreement.

Just a man being accused of having a Nazi tattoo on his organ. The only way to deny it by exposing it, but then he will be arrested. Unfortunately the accusations go on.

That article should be online later today or tomorrow at:

uniontrib.com

Go to the business section.

Good Luck.
