There are a significant number of Independents who live in R districts. Besides, there are many Rs who voted for Obama. There are a significant number of Rs who do not like the tea party folks. I don't mean to be rude when I say this......but you are being a bit naive. Most districts in this country have been gerrymandered to death to insure that one party or the other will get elected. And the truth is there are very few real independents. Most independents lean one way or the other.....and if they are in a GOP district, its very likely they lean GOP. I am sorry to sound like chicken little but this country is in a very dangerous situation........its prognosis does not look good at all.
