there are no novel and new genes... yet there are "patents" on genes.

There can be novel genes in particular species.

Of course, as I've said, everyone knows they won't stand up in court and hence the price of those companies stocks.

I believe one of the most active company's in this field is Monsanto and I believe they've generally won in court on these issues.

It has DIRECTLY to do with all that past stuff you've posted here about evolution as support for your position on that (evolution) and how it DIRECTLY goes against your "belief" about gene patents.


I don't see historic evolution and in particular, whether its telic or not, as having much to do with genetic engineering.
