Me too. But in a fully integrated and globalized world that won't be the dynamic IMO.

Consider: CA has higher unemployment that TX. So Californians move to Texas, gradually leveling things out long-term. And everyone in the US is fine with that.

Well, some years from now (decades? centuries?), that same fluid movement of labor and capital may play out on the world stage. Can't get a job in Houston? Well, just come on over to New Delhi. I think that's the direction the planet is heading.
