Definitely concur.. if we can find products made locally that don't cost 3 times as much.. My father was strictly a buyer of American vehicles (normally GMC/Chevrolet). I guess I was the bastard for buying Toyotas.. ;0)

However, economic realities come into play for cash strapped consumers trying to get by.. Hence, all the folks shopping at Walmart. But I strongly encourage buying local wherever possible.
