I'd rather see more medical schools. The pool of public servants is large enough. Major cuts are needed. But what happens is that when cuts are made they are first made by firing those with less senority while those in ivory towers "wall-up". Then they complain about not being able to "provide services". The better solution would be to rollback salaries and pensions across the board. Try 30% for starters. Eliminate retirement stipends, and "pension padding".
