TJ, that's a good article... But the author does OMIT the various booms/busts that were all part of "Basicland's" development. Long history of them, which is where a lot of our market regulations originated from (when we bother to actually enforce them.. ;0)

And from my understanding, the Chinese culture is even more inclined to gamble and speculate than those folks in Basicland.

But I am amazed that you can't see the same "casino" gambling in China/HK's financial and real estate markets, or the likely repercussions that are sure to manifest themselves.
