Why would you claim that all those who earn more than your family come by their income disreputably? If you prefer that the tax schedule be more progressive, fine, but discrediting them as somehow unworthy doesn't seem like a reasonable justification to me. It' seems like sour grapes or prejudice.

I'll admit that I think earnings won by actual work are more "earned", though they are taxed more, than passive investment earnings.

The Protestant work ethics I was raised with are showing.
