I warned all on and off si, altruism to the max, because I care about people.

That's certainly not what I had been understanding from your words relative to income inequality. I believe your words were "I'm counting on it"..

I'm heartened that you do assist your helper. That's a good deed.

I did not, as you did, spew the sort of rot you have over the years, zigging from communism and zagging to fascism

It would seem that you can read, but not comprehend. I'm a pragmatist, but I'm also a humanitarian. I, unlike you, recognize that economic theories are just different methods by which the "power elite" attempt to control the lives of others. Communists are no different that Capitalists except in how they attempt to obtain that power.

And it's my belief that the only thing that separates democracy from fascism is the right to vote for our representatives in free and fair elections.

And I'm not convinced that Fascism isn't what exists in China right now. It's the state using the capitalist system to assist in fulfilling the goals of the state. So long as you provide what state leadership desires, you're fine. But the minute your capitalist "wheelers and dealers" threaten state power, the apparatchiks in Bejing will yank the reins on your collars and restrain/detain you.

Afterall, isn't all the property in HK built on Government owned land?

glorifying a war that significantly contributed to the raping of young girls, maiming of their mothers, and killing of their grandfathers.

You left out dogs, cats, and their beloved donkeys and camels... ;0)

And apparently you weren't paying attention to what was going on BEFORE the US even got involved in Iraq and Afghanistan. Raping and pillaging was a common event, especially when the Fidayin Saddam came prowling in the night, trolling for victims to terrorize as an "example" to the rest.

And you're doing WONDERS in Darfur, now aren't you? Think about the genocide that the "umbrella" of Chinese influence has permitted to transpire there. The UN won't get involved because China has it's veto power there.

And you're still griping about the Dalai Lama, thinking you can intimidate other nations into forgetting that China occupies Tibet, a country where Chinese is not even the native language.

Doesn't matter that China uses the services of it's OWN Pachen Lama and claims the governmental right to choose/approve all religious leaders in Tibet. Of course, they try and assert that such approvals were, by tradition, the right of the Chinese emperor...

So does that mean that China is an empire again?

Maybe the US screws up.. But the reality is that the nature of the US people will not permit us to conquer other nations and then colonize them with Americans (as China has done in Tibet).
Sure.. we will overthrow tyrannical regimes, but we'll do our level best to replace them with governments that are more accountable to their people. Doesn't always work. However, in general, it's what we attempt.

Bottom line.. China's hands are not clean by any means so I wouldn't be throwing stones in your glass house.
