Thanks, TJ. A side benefit (to me) of this dispute you and Hawk are having is the information on Hong Kong. I needed an update, particularly to understand HK lifestyles in a relative way. If you have time to make a couple more comments: How do you feel about personal security in HK, relative to other cities? How reliable and affordable is public transportation?

Is this an accurate construction of economic reality for a person like Coconut's nanny? She earns a "living wage", and pays 0% of that in taxes (pays 14% of any extra earnings); she has no room and board expense (unless she chooses to buy property); she has no healthcare expense; her employer invests 1/6 of her annual wage in her un-taxed account. Minus clothing, personal care and entertainment, she could save 116% of her wage, and she can take her money and herself anywhere she wants to go without constraint. Is that an accurate picture?

There's a lot here I didn't know (if I got it right). Thanks!
