Ameritrade is claiming that a co. known as DTC Corp. is some sort of clearinghouse for all mergers, splits, etc., and that Ameritrade's system will not change until they are notified by DTC concerning the new trade symbol and shares adjustment. Is anybody else hearing this from their broker????

P.S. I did suggest to them that rather than waiting to hear from DTC, that they contact DTC themselves to clear up the confusion.
