Rovi Expands Patent License Program in Europe

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Feb. 24, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Rovi Corporation (Nasdaq:ROVI) and STRONG, a leading provider of set-top boxes in Europe, today announced that they have entered into a license agreement for interactive program guide (IPG) patents owned by Rovi.

The agreement provides STRONG with a license to Rovi's IPG patents for STRONG branded set-top boxes sold at retail throughout Europe.
