Limited posting is a problem. But that increases after a while. I'm up to the max of 100 per day for a free member.
-----------
Because we value your participation here at Silicon Investor, and you've posted at least 50 messages, we have upgraded your account.

You are now able to post 10 messages per day instead of 5.

Once you've reached 100 messages, you'll be able to post 25 per day.

You've reached the highest level a member can reach free of charge.

I'm not sure the above is correct, because I've not posted 500 messages (less than 200), but now can post 100 per day.

Plus there is this now.

The ability to read messages in batches greater than 10 is a Premium feature. It was temporarily made available to GF/Life members while in development, though it now requires a Premium subscription. Options allow batches greater than 10 to be set, but it is used only if the user has a currently valid Premium subscription.

No matter what site we use now, there seems to be problems.
