When you say"private sector" does that exclude banking and finance? Any abuse by public unions is small potatoes compared to the monstrous ripoffs on Wall Street and the financial industry. These people are driven by an almost inhuman greed, while most public workers just want a make a decent living for themselves and their families.

When and if the fat cats are brought down a few pegs, then perhaps we can complain about overly high salaries for SOME public workers.
