The teleco's are are buying NN equipment for major upgrades of their backbone networks and regional switching offices. These kinds of major upgrades by a utility need to be handled very deliberately and carefully to avoid unexpected glitches. Also, these huge companies operate almost as glacially slowly as a government does. I think the revenues from all of the announced contracts will appear gradually over the course of the next 6 quarters, not in a sudden burst of income. This is good for long term investors with patience, but lousy for the momentum players who look for results right now. I still believe that TM has NN on the right path.
