So far from what I've seen of BD I'm indifferent. I'm gonna take another look but I just don't care that much.

Lawrence of Arabia looks ok on my old Wegas. If I really wanted to see Lawrence of Arabia the way it should be seen it would be on 70mm. I dearly do want to but you know, the story comes through on my TVs and it's a great story. The cinematography is incredible but when I watch on my TV its embedded in my mind's eye what it would look like on 70mm.

BD is just not compelling enough for me to splurge. It's a depression you know. People are scared and counting pennies. BD prices are way higher than used DVDs which are dirt cheap mostly. DVD players are dirt cheap like $10 at garage sales.

And you know what? I'm getting sick of replacing my media ever few years.
