you have organizations and corporations that can shape and move markets just as effectively as the govt. I think that the main cause of the corporatist disease is too much power in the hands of political classes. If the rules of the game were simpler, and if politicians didn't have the power to deliver special "favors" to their corporate friends, corporations wouldn't be spending millions on "buying" those politicians. Unlimited power in the hands of politicians equals infinite corruption. America's founders were right. Clearly delineating and limiting Government's powers is the way to go.
