From what I can tell, past management was completely ineffective at taking the company from a small, privately-owned niche company to a consistently profitable, publicly owned growth company that could capably compete in a highly competitive business. The present management, which seems to have a good track record, seems to be on a purge of the past management, which has ultimately led to Boyd himself. My sense is that this is good news.
