Sebelius was on topic and impressive.

But too many sob stories came out of the Dems. I was hoping for a different level of debate.

Obama seems informed and moderated the whole thing quite well, I thought. I couldn't see any reason for his rudeness to McCain, though....seemed kind of cruel, actually.

I may have missed some more substantive commentary from Dems, though. After the third or fourth sob story, I started doing laundry and couldn't always hear everything.

Generally, though, it seemed to me that the Rs did have ideas, did have legitimate concerns, and seemed as a group to have given more thought to the nuts and bolts of things. It could be, though, that some of their assumptions need to be fact-checked.

I missed Louise Slaughter, but agree with you on the others.
