Should that be the only criteria? From what I am reading, there have been thousands of complaints filed over the accelerator malfunction.

I can't prove there is some sort of conspiracy, but things look funny. Pulling TM back down to the rest of the industry
can only help Detroit.... I want to get the detailed story of that woman whose Lexus raced up to 100 mph which she couldn't stop.....I've heard no mention of her just turning the key off.


I might agree if Europe hadn't been on their case for a year before American regulators finally picked up the slack. Something is not adding up right.....the fact they're 'buying off' regulators doesn't sound like a car company that doesn't have anything to hide.
