I don't know what you know about the MediaGX but it has a sister chip that does the audio and video and has modem capabilities. That saves a lot of space. I've seen the Pentium and The MediaGX side by side and the MediaGX is much smaller...
Take a look at this...will Compaq be an OEM is the Q?
