pete, chartoftheday.com I think brinker's premise that we are in for 20 years of cyclical bull markets (secular bear) is correct. Note: we have a ways to go to reach that bottom line where we were in 81-82. If i had to guess, we have only one more downturn to go. Now, the question is ? how much inflation will it take to reach that bottom line? it may take a lot of inflation and a "little" downturn or a little inflation and a "big" downturn. I think the "mother of all buying opportunities" is ahead of us. I have not heard that premise discussed for a long time. the data is still out but as time goes on, I keep coming back to that idea. We are still the largest market in the world, and we still run on Capitalistic principles.... even though our dear leader is trying to change that. 8)))
