I'm expecting USB3 to make eSATA irrelevant. It's time the Macs have that instead as USB3 is the future (I never thought I'd say that as I've much preferred Firewire, :-). I can use eSATA now with the slot on the side of my MacBook Pro 15", but I don't like or use it as it's a kludge of an internal bus.
