Yes I think so, personally I disliked the GST, but I disliked Chretien and Martin's decision to keep it even more. When chretien said in Davos that the GST was the right tax at the right time, after campaigning against it, I realised just how morally bankrupt the Liberals were. At least the Conservatives sometimes tell the truth. Not always but sometimes.... The liberals don't even tell you the truth when it is on their side.
