I have the utmost respect for DR Gray and his tropical forecasting used to be on the money before 2005.The worlds weather patterns have gone though drastic changes and even DR Gray is getting frustrated as he has had to change his forecasts during the hurricane season many times over the past 5 years. No question that we have a new cycle of world weather and with the current El Nino being the longest and strongest in recorded history is something that we can learn from. We all know for a fact that EL Nino produces sheer across the Atlantic.Even if water temps are 100f the sheer would cut apart tropical storm circulation. Now with the new forecast of EL Nino ending on May 31st just 1 day before the start of official Hurricane season I think the chances of having an active hurricane season is more in the cards.
