It doesn't take money to build earthquake and hurricane resistant houses. Dig holes in the ground and put planks over them, with tents on the mezzanine floor. Build the holes on slopes so the water can be drained out.

When the hurricane threatens, furl the tent, go into the hole, watch FLO on the cyberphone to see what's happening, and keep on with some business selling cyberspace services.

Tents are highly earthquake resistant and if the worst comes to the worst and they do collapse due to violent shaking ripping out the tent pegs, rainwater will collect and enable those trapped inside to drink water until rescued in a few weeks [their stored food and water will help them survive].

No worries.

PS: The reason for no money is no private property rights. If somebody does something good, somebody else will confiscate it. That can be fixed by suitable punishment of criminals.
