jg-I have not yet heard "Time Out of Mind". I did see Daniel Lanois (the producer) and a critic on the "Charlie Rose Show". It wouldn't surprise me if there are sparks of genius on this disk. Dylan and Lanois are both pretty unconventional and their risky approach to creativity flies in the face of formula. I don't find myself drawn to the Wallflowers. I like the Jayhawks quite a bit. I like Son Volt and Wilco but liked Uncle Tupelo much better (time for mergers and acquisitions again as opposed to spin-offs). I'll have to check out the disc you mentioned. Cheers, rahn.
