Just my take, but over any extended period of time these funds remind me of Ms. Pac Man and will eat any longer term insurance premium.

Since Jan. '07 until this past Jan., the SPX was down 24%. Not only isn't SDS up 48%, it is down over 8%.

Would definitely have to be looked like as insurance because there is a premium to be paid.

If I tried them it would be short term only, but then I am reminded of when Jorj was trying to do better than a coin
toss at guessing the market each day.
