Its possible that in some states, some of the adjuncts to the car sale do get their percentage prices increased by regulations, to a greater extant than health insurance does, but even if this is true the price of the whole package, the car and all the addons and contracts, doesn't increase by nearly as much. You are aware of the abuse in the private insurance market... even with all the regulation? Imagine an unregulated or very low regulated market. It would be a nightmare. Scam artists everywhere.
