As for bills, Republicans have proposed all sorts of amendments and bills of there own, but they got quickly shot down by the majority, dieing in committee, or never coming to any sort of vote, or being rejected quickly by a vote. They are nibbling at the edges...interstate insurance competition, which even you admitted is of marginal value, tort reform...fine with me if done in moderation...nothing that really attacks the fundamental problems of the uninsured and insurance abuse.
