Well, THAT'S THE ISSUE that I started with!

And that's the only issue in this debate that interests me... the potential (as we have recently seen) for truly massive costs being passed along to the taxpayers to 'prevent even bigger financial disasters'.

And the hit to the taxpayers for the taxpayer-guaranteed DEPOSITS being put at risk when the mega-sized institutions engage in high risk financial activities.
