(Reading minds all over the place. <g>) But --- even if you were to be correct in reading President Obama's mind to 'know what he was really thinking none of that would matter even the slightest in this instance... as the bipartisan deficit reduction commission was SPECIFICALLY NOT RESTRICTED to 'only consider tax increase' or anything else. It was tasked with proposing ways to reduce the deficit... with NO PREREQUISITES. Spending cuts, revenue raises, all were possible ideas they could explore.
