I remember the embarrassment of getting caught with an item labeled 'Made in Japan' during the 1950s. A stigma unrecognized by the 80s except in the humor of 'Back to the Future' where Marty McFly is the only one who knows the best stuff comes from Japan.

Are we on the wake of a new patriotism for things made in the USA?
