A note found on a table in the family's home led authorities to suspect the deaths were the result of an apparent suicide pact brought on by concerns about global warming, according to the reports. The couple's son, Francisco, died instantly after being shot in the back. But the unnamed baby girl cheated death after a bullet from her dad's handgun missed her vital organs. The blood-soaked baby was discovered by police with a bullet casing in her chest after neighbours complained of a stench emanating from the family's residence. The youngster was then rushed to hospital by paramedics.
