A draft won't solve immaturity IMO..... but what it would do is pack the military with a bunch of malcontents.... and we get too many of those without the draft.

There are times when a draft is called for. Now should not be one of those times. It puts a tremendous burden on America when implemented.

No, if we want to have an impact on how well developed kids are we've got to overhaul our education system. It's cranking out government dependents at an alarming rate..... of course everything starts at home.

To fix the problem of lack of education start to say no to the education unions. A town in Rhode Island did recently; they fired all the teachers who went out on strike. Teachers were not content with a 2% raise when they were only making 3 1/2 times the median income of the households in their area.
